KITCHEN
The use of stone as a countertop material has existed for many hundreds of years. Born out of necessity in the European homes of the past, large slabs of marble and limestone served their purpose as durable and functional surfaces, lasting the lifespan of the home. Man has created many different materials since this first countertop of stone, but even today, most will agree that nature has provided us with the most beautiful and functional material for the kitchen.   show room

BATHROOM
At the end of day, there is a place to which you can escape, to nurture your body as well as your soul; this place is the master bath. Recently evolving into a spalike retreal for the discriminating homeowner, this bath is the epitome of elegance when created with natural stone. Designs are now emerging that were once held only in homeowners' dream. Arches of thick decorative tile frame the entrance to an oversized steam shower built for two. A deep whirpool tub sits encased in stone while an enormous hand-carved fireplace casts a warm glow throughout the room. Today's master suite bathroom is no longer the oversized standard bath of the past, it is now an architecturally stunning hideaway that is looked upon with near reverence.   show room

THE STONE FLOOR
Natural stone is a flooring material is not a new concept. For centuries stone has been found underfoot in dwellings spaning the globe. From the narrow cobblestone streets of Europe to the slate sidewalks of New Orleans, stone has been laid before us as a pathway on which we journey through life. A great number of those floors still remain in existence today, now more beautiful than ever with the marks of time written upon their face. Their asquisition is so desirable that many homeowners will pay an exorbitant amount of money to acquire an original stone floor salvaged from an antiquated European dwelling. Entire markets exist merely to re-create the enduring beauty of these timeworn tiles.   show room
